QUICK START GUIDE:

FILING CABINETS: Choose what ever you like. Just make sure they hold regular 8 1/2 x 11" "Hanging Files" (No need for legal size unless you are a lawyer).
Important: In the drawer, there will a lip for the hanging files to slide on, or a metal frame for them to sit on. They are great to use. Don't buy a cabinet that does not take them. You files will always slump over in an unusable pile.

HOW MANY FILES FIT IN A FILE CABINET? A rule of thumb...In a small filing cabinet, each drawer will hold about 50 average sized files.

YOUR FIRST SET UP OF FIND EVERY FILE
-Put one number on the File folder in the upper right area where it says No:
-Stick the same number on a white blank that came with the hanging file tabs. Side it into the clear hanging file tab.
Don't put the tab on the back lip of the hanging file, put it on the inside of the front lip with the number facing front. The plastic tab should lean back from the front edge of the hanging file.
Some people like to stick on numbers first then type.
-Just click "Add Files" to get started and type in your info. With a pen on the file folder, write a few words about what is in the file, right next to the number on the file folder. Then do the same thing, moving to your computer. Enter a few words about what is in the file, next to that same number, in Find Every File tm. Simple.
