How Do I Back Up My Data?

Don’t worry. Find Every File automatically backs up your work to your major computer hard drive as you type.
Backup Database on Disk. You might want to make an extra copy of your work just in case your computer dies. You never know. We suggest you make an extra copy of your work on disk once a week (every Friday for example). Keep that in a safe place.
If you have never copied something to a floppy disk here’s how. There are 2 main steps. Put a floppy in your computer: Here’s how. Get a fresh 3 ½ floppy disk. On the label write "Find Every File backup". Then put that fresh 3 ½ floppy in your floppy drive. That’s the smallest slot on the front of your computer. It will click in place.
Go to the software: As shown below.
Click "File". Then "Backup DataBase".


After you click Backup Database, find your floppy drive as shown below.
To find your floppy drive:
As shown below, Click on the down arrow, by the word "Save In" at the top of the screen. A dialogue box will drop down with Floppy drive in it.
